This was the first time that a Vintage night was run in Kells village, but even before the event there was a huge buzz around, with people deciding what they were going to wear. As the event drew closer set up began and the buzz jumped to the next level, with the kells community sprit shining out yet again as people from all over the village chipped in and helped to get the venue ready for the event. This was a fantastic event to photograph, and I have to thank fellow photographer Stef for asking me to give her a hand shooting the event.
Sprits were high and the event did not disappoint, with a wide range of costumes, fun was had with some people really going the extra mile to dress up. The vintage vibe was kept going with the presence of a vintage car, and some vintage style furniture and 30′s style music, which really helped to set the mood of the night!
Awards were given out for the best dressed man and woman on the night, the winners Sheila Kean and Alan Sheridan. A raffle was also held which had great prizes from hampers to event tickets and vouchers. The highlight of the shoot to me was defiantly the dress attire of the night, with people pulling all the stops and really getting into the sprit of the event.
